We are dwellers in the Father's love

being provoked to sustain each other's hunger.

We are wounded healers who trust Jesus' touch

and are not hiding the doubts of our weak hearts.

We are creative seekers, finding the anointing of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of life

because His touch is hidden and manifested

in mourning and in thrill.

We are citizens of heaven

living in a missionary community in the Los Angeles area.

We create the culture of encounter.

Our roots and theological understanding comes from the rich theological and existential heritage of the Catholic Church. We are accountable to the local Bishop David G. O'Connell.

We proclaim the risen Christ through words and deeds: preaching and the works of mercy, engaging in various forms of evangelization in the midst of post-Christian worldview as well as among unchurched baptized seekers. Our path of discipleship starts at our families, places of work, neighberhoods and parishes.

We operate in the spirit of 'gift exchange'. We receive from our brothers and sisters from the whole Body of Christ and we are ready to offer the gifts we have received from 2,000 years of witnessing to Christ's power.

We expect the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit to break through in our midst. We following the Tradition of the New Testament Church and our great mystics as well as the wisdom of all Christians who walk in the Spirit and bring fruit.

Worship of our Creator with our life is fundamental for us. We want to develop great liturgical and common worship settings that will be conducive to hosting the presence of God, cultivate life changing encounters in humility and create beautiful expressions of abiding in the Spirit.

How do I join?

You express your desire to join to one of the COR leaders.

What does it mean to belong to StF Community? Do I sign something?

You give all of your possessions to the community. JUST KIDDING! Whenever you realize you belong with our tribe, one of our COR leaders will talk to you and see what are your expectations and desires. We suggest all to go through our DISCIPLESHIP PATH. You may join one of our DIAKONIA Ministry teams right away, unless some pre-requisits are set up.

What kind of commitment are you demanding?

We do not demand anything. You should feel ready to stick with our Community Rhythm, no matter how 'advanced' spiritually you consider yourself. All saints have past. We start when you say YES and we go from there.

Can I join if I stopped going to church and I doubt many things I have been told by my church leaders or clergy?

Yep, We have VIP seats for you. We want you!

I am a practicing Catholic, do I have to go through Alpha?

We want everyone to experience the benefits of Alpha. You may be eligible to be an Alpha helper.

I want to come but I do not know where to start!

Show up at one of the Gatherings on Tuesdays and we will go from there. If you are looking for something close to your location, see Community Hubs.
